Several tour operators offer journeys to Brazil, including a hotel. Based on own experiences and stories told by many travellers, Brazil is seen as a beautiful holiday destination, but… the hotel experiences are much less positive. Imagine: you booked a rather cheap hotel, but when you arrive the hotel appears to be pretty far away from the city. You must take the bus every time to arrive at the tourist market, restaurants or other nice places. Or the contrary: every day you are obliged to get the bus to the beach, but while booking you preferred a hotel which allowed you to walk right to beach! Daily you are forced to listen to the noise made by other tourists or their music, who also booked that same (rather cheap) hotel. Getting a breakfast served which is not fresh nor abundant. Or: you invite visitors to your hotel room, but you are stopped by the receptionist or security guards, because it is not allowed to do so. In almost every hotel in Brazil this is certainly the case. Your holiday pleasure will be so much less because of all of this.

Just because of the fact we only offer A-locations, you will always find nearby the local bakery or supermarket. For just a few euros you buy yourself your own very fresh rolls, fruit and anything else you would like to have. You will smile when you have to pay. You eat what you want and whenever you want, almost for nothing!
Furthermore you will not be on yourself as soon as you arrive on your holiday destination. In all cities where we offer apartments there are people who can give you advice regarding everything if necessary. You need a physician, or a dentist? You want to know which restaurant would be so nice to attend and where to go exactly to visit sightseeing’s? These people, who cooperate with The Dutch Touch, will help you on the spot with all your questions.

Beaches
The beaches of Brazil are wonderful and they might belong to the most beautiful ones of the world. Clean ocean water with a comfortable temperature and beaches in a variety of choice. You look for busy or long and isolated beaches? Do you prefer white sand, or colourful rocky or sand dunes? Rather a cute small beach village? The Dutch Touch can advice you wherever you want to go; just tell us your personal wishes.
Temperature The temperature in Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro is always very nice. There is no such thing as cold; just the sun, sun and again the sun. In the evenings most of the times you will feel a cool breeze. In the months of March and April it can be raining in Fortaleza. In Rio this will be the case mostly during the month of December. Temperatures however will be continuously comfortable all year through.

People
The people are friendly and like to meet Europeans. Some are just very curious, others are interested in the country you are originally from. In any case they love the fact that you came all the way from Europe to visit their country, which they so proudly represent. In almost every situation they will be friendly in all their communication with you and will help you with all the questions you have. But be aware that most Brazilians do not have the European education that we are used to. This results in the fact that many of them do not speak English.
Special days/Holidays Wonderful to experience is the very famous Brazilian carnival. Especially in Rio de Janeiro this is celebrated on a big scale. People in Fortaleza celebrate ‘Fortal’ as well, also a kind of carnival. This party will be held in the month of July and takes several days. Also the Christmas holidays and New years´ eve are wonderful days to experience in Brazil and a lot of people are off. To celebrate these days in Brazilian style is definitely recommendable!

Food
Having lunch or dinner in Brazil is very cheap. There is a variety in choice concerning fresh fish, meat, vegetables and fruits which are almost everywhere to buy in restaurants or right on the beach. Did you never eat fresh lobster or oysters? Almost prohibitive here in Europe. In Brazil however it will cost you almost nothing.. You can during the whole day enjoy all this magnificent fresh food. The Dutch Touch can advice you where to buy, or sometimes where better not to do so. Also we can recommend special (non-touristic) romantic restaurants. But, as said above, the level of service will be above your imagination! You are probably in Europe not used to that anymore. You want to have dinner in a stylish restaurant, including a fine bottle of wine? The prices in Reals will make you smile. Nice occasion to invite others!

You will find them listed below. You wouldn’t like to have your holidays spoilt by others? Minimalize this risk as much as you can and take over control. You’d better determine yourself how you want to have everything arranged. After all: it is your holiday!
The only thing you have to take care for is to book your (on line) plain ticket: all the rest you let The Dutch Touch take care off. Just hand over all your other wishes to The Dutch Touch and we offer you a price for your apartment. Of course this price is influenced by the period of the year you want to spend your holiday. Also it depends on how many people are staying in the apartment and how long the period will be. But the price will be low as every price is low in Brazil! Contract: To avoid any misunderstandings, we work with a (temporarily) contract. The main rules mentined in this contract are possible to be downloaded here. By making reservations with us, you declare that you agree with the (temporarily) contract. The full contract (stated in Portugese) can be requested for. If the contract is not presented to you, you declare by making reservations with us, that you agree with the main rules as can be downloaded in this paragraph.
